In 2018, my family and I made the courageous decision to start a new life in the US. While I had visited the country before as a student or tourist, immigrating to the States was an entirely different ballgame. Everything was new and uncharted territory.
To make matters worse, we faced a host of challenges from the outset. We had no credit score or history, no rental history, and to top it off, we couldn’t access our savings remotely. All we had was $400 in our pocket, and that had to last us until we found our feet.
It wasn’t easy. Picture this: no job, no car, and no stable place to call home, all while holding my one-year-old daughter in my arms. The future was uncertain, and the stress was palpable.
But I wasn’t about to give up. I started interviewing for jobs, and that’s when I stumbled upon a work-from-home opportunity with a real estate company. And I loved the work and the company! Slowly but surely, things started to fall into place. I wanted to prove myself and learn as much as possible about the industry and the job, and my hard work generated multiple seven figures for the company.
Since then, my life has taken a complete turn. I’ve had the privilege of speaking on big stages in front of thousands of people, sharing my expertise in lead management of real estate. And now, I’m proud to say that I’ve founded a company that helps busy entrepreneurs reclaim their time by hiring top-notch support staff. It’s been a long and winding journey, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Looking back on it all, I realize that challenges are just opportunities in disguise. They’re what make us stronger, more resilient, and more determined to succeed. And for me, they’ve fueled a hunger to always bring my best and stay true to my core values: V.I.B.E – Value, Integrity, Betterment, and Extreme Ownership.
